Four New Catalogues Have Been Reviewed

Four new catalogues.

Four new catalogues.

This month we review four new bookseller catalogues. Philip Salmon & Company has issued their first catalogue, The Interaction of Paper. It offers books where the paper has uncommon features, such as pop-ups. Bull's Head Rare Books is offering a catalogue titled In the Shadow of Hell Mountain. There's a story behind that strange title, while the catalogue itself offers a variety of material.

Zephyr Used & Rare Books presents a collection of science fiction pulps. Some of the writing and authors are first rate, others some number of steps down from there, but they all feature amazing artwork on the covers. David M. Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books has a new selection of historic Americana, primarily from the nineteenth century.
