About Us We are a small but dynamic operation very much focused on the client. We have been in business since 2002, working in the Inner-West of Sydney. Our expansive gallery-style rooms in Annandale are ideal for showcasing Australian & International art; and we hold at least three specialist art auctions each year, invariably finding new homes for 80% or more of the artworks entrusted to us for sale. We believe in transparency of operation, extensive promotion, and faultless presentation. We are also approachable and friendly and look at each consignment as a new challenge to maintain our track record of client satisfaction. As a result, Davidson Auctions is very well regarded within the industry. We employ modern online bidding facilities within a traditional auction format, and our commissions are low compared to our competitors. All administration, handling and (in-house professional) photography costs are incorporated into our sellers commission structure; and are not charged separately to the client. We do not believe in charging for any service that comprises part of our usual business. We invite you to contact us for an appraisal of any items you are considering selling. There is no fee or obligation involved. As long-term members of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia, client money are held in a separate vendor account subject to annual audit. As such, you can sell through Davidson Auctions with confidence. In addition to our art focus, we hold regular Estate and Collector auctions, which offer not only pictures and sculpture, but also silver and jewellery, each piece subject to a considered appraisal by our consultant specialist. These sales also present select examples of decorative arts including Asian antiques, objet dart and tribal art. We are agile enough to accommodate all manner of specialist collections and estates, and keep a weekend aside every year for special sales. We offer an efficient and streamlined service and take great pride in our operation. We look forward to hearing from you.
