Source Title Waverly Auctions, Inc.
Description Waverly Auctions was founded in Bethesda, Maryland, in 1977. It was established as a book auction, featuring rare books, autographs, manuscripts, maps, atlases, children's books, prints and graphics. In time the firm grew to be one of America's largest specialist auctions in the field of books.

In 2004, the firm was purchased by Quinn's Auction Gallery of Falls Church, Virginia. Quinn's is owned by Paul Quinn, who along with his sons has been running this auction house in the Washington suburb since 1995. Quinn's has been focused on art, jewelry, coins, furniture, antiques, and collectibles. Waverly was moved to Quinn's location in Falls Church, but while facilities were combined, book auctions continued to be run under the Waverly name.
