Description	Lathrop Harper was one of the most important American book dealers of the 20th century. As did the most important dealers before him, he handled both incunabula and Americana. His list of collectors and libraries that relied upon his advice was long and legendary. In the AED we have added a portion of the material he offered. For clarity, refer to specific records for the dates that apply. He was active as a dealer from 1911 until his death in 1950. After his death his company's name was continued.
