Source Title New York Post 2007
Description Bloomsbury Book Auctions was founded in 1983 in London by Lord John Kerr, Frank Herrmann and David Stagg. It was formed as the only auction house in England devoted entirely to the sale of books and manuscripts. The firm sells books and manuscripts covering all fields and price ranges and regularly shows up as the annual top seller of books at auction worldwide. In 2007, the firm opened a New York office and has expanded its offerings to include photography, prints, and other types of works on paper, but remained primarily focused on books, manuscripts, and related material. It also has a location in Rome.
