Description Marc van de Wiele opened his first book shop in Bruges, Belgium, in 1976. The firm moved to larger quarters in Bruges in 1992, and in 2003 expanded into the field of auctions. Auctions have been held twice a year, in March and October.

Marc van de Wiele Auctions specializes in illustrated books from the 15th through the 20th century, including books of hours, incunabula, natural history, atlases, medical books and books of artists.
