Source Title
Description Northeast Auctions was founded in 1983 by auctioneer Ronald Bourgeault. Over the years it has grown to be one of America's larger auction houses, selling around $25 million of items annually. Located near the sea in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, about an hour from Boston, the house specializes in paintings, furniture, ceramics, silver and other decorative arts. It also holds an annual marine sale among its five major scheduled yearly auctions. While books are not their focus, they can show up on occasion in their auctions.
