The firm's owner, Joseph Maddalena, was from an early age a collector and entrepreneur in the field of collectibles. After college, he used those instincts to develop a business in collectibles. Taking advantage of the location near Hollywood, in 1996 Maddalena held his first auction of Hollywood artifacts.
