Hans-Joachim Jeschke and Hans van Vliet's book and art auction opened in Berlin in 1990, shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall. It began exclusively as a book auction but grew to encompass works of art as well. They run sales twice a year, in the spring and fall.  Name change to Jeschke van Vliet Auctions Berlin GmbH in 2012
