Description More than 41,000 records of book, pamphlet and broadside printed in the continental United States between and 1639 and 1800. Undertaken by Charles Evans, the original work was completed by Clifford Shipton and later augmented by Roger Bristol.

This database is derived from Charles Evans' original work but does not entirely duplicate it. It does however include 6,000 records not in the original publication.
