In 1983, it opened an office in New York to serve American consignors and bidders, and another in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. Hauswedell & Nolte specializes in three areas, modern & contemporary art, old masters, and rare books, manuscripts, and autograph letters. It maintains experts on staff in the book field, and holds major auctions in the spring and fall. |
