New England Book Auctions was formed in the early 1980s under the name Oinonen Book Auctions. It was the only auction house in New England dedicated to selling rare books and related material. They conducted 24 auctions annually. New England Book Auctions was located in Sunderland in western Massachusetts.

In 2009, after purchase by new owners, the firm's name was changed to New England Auctions. All listings after this name change are found in this database under the name New England Auctions.
