 For the week ended Friday 20 August 2021, 36 auctions were archived to Rare Book Hub’s Transactions+ Database, 1 in Danish krone, 8 in euros, 3 in British pounds, 1 in Norwegian krone, and 23 in US dollars.

 

Turnover was $6,718,429 as 81% of all lots sold.  There were 8,670 offers posted and 6,996 changed hands.  The average lot sold for $960.

 

The fall season kicks off early with Bonhams’ sale of The Early West on 29 August.
