For the week ended Friday, 6 April 2023, 35 auctions were archived to Rare Book Hub’s Transactions+ database, 1 denominated in Danish krone, 14 in euros, 3 in British pounds, 1 in Mexican pesos, and 16 in US dollars.

 

Turnover this past week was $5,498,266.04 as 81.9% of all lots changed hands.  There were 6,200 offered and 5,078 transacted.  The average lot sold for $1,082.76.

 

The market periodically feels as if it’s caught between exhilaration and anxiety, desire and fear.  The strong bias is toward desire.
