Auction Update Review
Rare Book Hub: 30 Auctions Archived, another 60 Upcoming this Week
For the week ended Friday 10 November, 30 auctions were archived to Rare Book Hub’s Transactions+ database; 1 denominated in Danish krone, 6 in euros, 3 in British pounds, 1 in Mexican pesos, and 19 in US dollars.
Turnover was $4,909,879.94 as 80.67% of all lots changed hands. There were 8,124 offered and 6,554 transacted. The average lot sold for $949.14.
Some portion of this past week’s sales were not uploaded to Transactions+ this week because we began releasing a more structurally robust version of Rare Book Hub last Thursday. Those sales will appear in next week’s Weekly Auction Update.
Now, when you start running searches in Transactions+ you’ll notice that outcomes appear more quickly. The combination of more records and more searching members has required us to substantially rebuild the site. It took a full year and you’ll feel it in the speed.
